How to play

Fit the blocks. Fill rows to clear them. The outline shows where your piece will land.

Touch: swipe sideways to move, tap to rotate, flick down to drop. Drag down slowly for a softer landing. You can also use the buttons.

Keyboard: ← → move · ↑ / X rotate · Z rotate back · ↓ soft drop · Space drop · P pause.

A quick question appears every four pieces, with play paused while you read. Every answer has an explanation. A good call lets you choose your next piece; a missed answer adds two awkward pieces.

Take your time: switch Timed play off before starting, or change Pace while paused. Pieces never fall or lock automatically. Move them, then press Drop to place them.

Clear several rows at once for more points. In timed play, the pace increases every 10 lines. Pause motion switches off decorative bursts; sound starts off.
