People are getting spammed with fake calendar invites on iPhone, packed with dodgy links. The trap isn’t just the links — tapping Accept, Maybe or Decline sends a reply that confirms your email address is live, so the spam keeps coming.
The move
Don’t tap Accept, Maybe or Decline, and don’t open the links. If deleting the event doesn’t shift it, remove it through your calendar account settings and report the email as phishing in your mail app. Practise spotting the safe tap with Would You Click?.
