Scammers are sending out-of-the-blue texts asking ‘Is this still available?’ with a fake Facebook Marketplace listing attached, and it shows your own name as the seller. The fake listing is bait to get you replying. That confirms your number is active and can open the door to more scams. Your name and number may have come from a data breach.
